Get ready for eight brand-new virtual cycling routes that take you past spectacular castles, mysterious forests, picturesque towns, and breathtaking natural landscapes. Whether you're pedaling through a royal courtyard or along a cliffside, these routes are packed with surprises, history, and beauty.
Immerse yourself in the Renaissance as you cycle virtually through Amboise, a charming town on the Loire where history and art come together. High above the river stands the royal Château d’Amboise, once a favorite residence of French kings. You'll wander through cobbled streets, colorful facades, and the hidden tales of court life from the 15th and 16th centuries.
But what really makes this route special? You’ll pass by Clos Lucé, the final residence of Leonardo da Vinci. The great master spent his final years here, at the French court. The area is rich in vineyards, stately tree-lined avenues, and sweeping views of the Loire that effortlessly transport you back in time. A route full of French charm.
Craving a route full of royal splendor and lush greenery? Then Fontainebleau is the one for you. You’ll start at the impressive Château de Fontainebleau, a palace inhabited by French rulers for over seven centuries, from Louis VII to Napoleon. As you cycle past symmetrical gardens and elegant facades, there’s beauty at every turn.
But Fontainebleau is more than stone and marble. Soon, the route leads you into the famous Forêt de Fontainebleau: a vast forest of winding paths, sandstone formations, and ancient trees. Once the royal hunting grounds, it’s now a paradise for hikers, climbers, and virtual cyclists alike. Whether you're into culture, nature, or a touch of imperial flair. This route has it all. And the best part? No saddle sores, just wonder.
