The Hague is the third biggest city in the Netherlands, after Amsterdam and Rotterdam. The Dutch parliament resides in The Hague, as well as the Dutch king and the Prime Minister. The Hague has an international appeal, and is known by many names (Den Haag, ‘s Gravenhage, Hofstad, La Haye). With many Embassies, the International Court of Justice, the Peace Palace, large parks and many high-rise buildings The Hague has the appeal of a big city. At the same time The Hague is small with many small gardens, different neighborhoods and many markets.
We start at the “Binnenhof”, a old complex of buildings where the Dutch Government and Prime Minister work. We can go to Central Station or towards Madurodam, a famous tourist attraction. You can go to the “Haagse Markt” (The Hague Market), the largest market in the Netherlands or to Palace “Noordeinde”, where king Willem-Alexander works.
All possible routes in the Hague last between 16 and 20 minutes. The are many points during the tour where you can choose where to go, allowing to explore a large part of the city. If we add al the possible routes there is over 4 hours of cycling available!
